The Dancers of the Vine is a cult active in Dervich and the Fertile Valley. Although the Dancers consider themselves a branch of the Church of Zhakata, the Church considers the Dancers a heresy.[1]
The Dancers believe that drunkenness is sacred. They worship Zhakata the Imbiber, who accepts the loss of rationality as a sacrifice, much as Zhakata the Devourer accepts starvation.[1]
