Boneclaws are emaciated, virtually skeletal undead most noteworthy because of their overly large claws. In fact, a boneclaw can extends its claws up twenty feet away. Fully intelligent (even more so than most humans), boneclaws are fond of ambushing and otherwise catching their foes unprepared. The precise origins of the boneclaw is unknown, though they can be created by necromancers and other similar spellcasters.[1]

It has been suggested that the boneclaw qualifies as an Obedient Dead according the Walking Dead typology in Van Richten's Guide to the Walking Dead. Likely salient abilities include Deathless Warrior, Ghastly Wings, Leaping, Life Sense, and Spider Climb.[2]
