An angel of decay appears to be a decaying, filth-ridden parody of a celestial, but in truth there is no relation. Instead, the angel of decay is an undead monstrosity that derives nourishment from the special energy emitted by rotting flesh. The angel's rotting aura eats away at any nearby creature, wearing them down and nauseating them. Moreover, its touch inflicts rotting damage that cannot be resisted. The angel of decay is healed every time its rotting powers are effective.[1]

Descriptive Text
“We arrived too late: Jezebel was able to complete her foolish summoning of an abyssal creature. The stink near the wood clearing was nearly unbearable. What few remained of Jezebel’s body rested in a pool of foul smelling liquid rot. Erik fainted. But suddenly this monstrosity flew over us, tainting us by its mere presence. We fled this horrible place. Erik is still missing.”
