The plain is largely covered by vingraes, a short golden grass with royal purple seeds. This grass lends the plain the moniker of “Højplads’s Carpet”. The Kesjermark is home to bandits that prey upon travellers along the Prince's Road and farmers along the Borchava River, the Vaughn Dnar River, the Ivlis River and the Volgis River.
