An elf noble born in Neblus, Alanik Ray is known as the so-called Great Detective for the many cases he has solved. His assistant and companion, Dr. Arthur Sedgewick is also his biographer and has scribed many of the Great Detective's exploits in several books.[1]
Alanik has resides in several places, including his hometown Neblus and Mordentshire. In [[747 BC}] he became Chief Constable (Martira Bay) of Martira Bay. However, he was driven out by an assassination attempt by the Kargat. He moved to Port-a-Lucine, where he operates as a freelance detective once more.[1]
Travels with Dr. Arthur Sedgewick, who has chronicled some of Ray's cases. Alanik Ray is the former Chief Constable (Martira Bay) of Martira Bay. He now resides in Port-a-Lucine.[1]
