Canon Information

Cougars, also called pumas or mountain lions, are solitary feline predators[1]. Cougars can being encountered in the domain of Markovia[2][3]. The listing of great cats in the encounter tables for Dorvinia[4], Borca[5], and G'Henna[6][7] in the 2nd edition Realm of Terror and Ravenloft Campaign Setting boxed sets is probably intended to refer to cougars.
