Gustov Petroff

Gustov Petroff is the assumed name of a deserter from the Falkovnian army. After decades of service, he had had enough of spilling blood but still loved the outdoors and open country. He drifted south and became a successful horse smuggler, stealing stallions from Nova Vaasa and selling them in the western Core. His story comes to its end in eastern Barovia in front of the Weary Horse Inn and is recounted here: Quoth the Raven Issue 13: When Nightmares Wake.
