Planet
A planet resembles a star. Planets are as bright or brighter than stars. Unlike stars, they tend not to twinkle. Their chief difference, howeve rbeing wanderers. The position of stars relative to one another is unchanging, the whole of them being fixed into permanent, readily recognisable patterns known as constellations. Like the sun and the moon, the position of planets relative to stars and to one another is slowly but constantly changing, some planets traversing the sky more quickly, and others less quickly, than each other and the stars.
The sky over the Core probably has four planets. The sky over the Core is generally held to have a single mooon. Yet in Nova Vaasa the annual Night of Bright Truth occurs when all five moons are full. It has been suggested that "five moons" is a mistranslation from Vaasi into Mordentish with the correct rendering being "five celestrial wanderers", which would be to say one moon and four planets.[1] The Night of Bright Truths would then occur when the moon is full and all four planets are above the horizon.[1]
