Salvatore Badgerden is a Conquistan man, and the sole surviving heir of an old, aristocratic line. In the wake of the Conquistan / Vieuxlyese war, he founded political party la Gente Caliente and started spending his lavish income on equally lavish parties. He did this not to win support for his party, but out of a genuine desire to help the most heavily-stricken communities that were not receiving government aid. Salvatore knows he is no politician and would make an awful president, but his silly counterfeit party allows him to help people with no one questioning his motives.
