Night Veil

Night Veil is a powerful magic weapon and longsword left by Grandfather Ward in the Tower of Ward Mansion and found by Lady Gowena Ward-Barthold. It is a +1 longsword and gives the bearer continual Protection from Evil and Invisibility to Undead. However, it is also cursed. It slowly eats away at a person's wisdom over the months it is carried. It also acts as a beacon calling out to the undead with the bearer's location. Although the sword's wielder is likely protected from the undead that should respond, those around her are not.
