Fishherder is a derisive name used by the settled peoples of the Fallaya Basin for the nomadic folk who live on the water in shanty boats. Fishherders have their own language as well as a fondness for banjo and pipe music. Fishherders do not actually herd fish though some do herd manatees which most uneducated folk take to be a kind of fish.
