- < -1265 BC The Amber Temple is built.
- 306 BC Strahd von Zarovich born
- 346 BC Strahd inherits the throne
- 347 BC Strahd conquers the valley of Barovia and slays the knights and silver dragon Argynvost at Argynvostholt.
- 350 BC Strahd finishes construction of Castle Ravenloft
- 351 BC Strahd slays his brother, Sergei von Zarovich, watches his one-sided love Tatyana Federovna leap to her death, and becomes a vampire.
- 725 BC The first of the three green gems protecting the Wizard of Wines vineyard is stolen.
- 732 BC Nikolai Wachter dies and his wife, Fiona, preserves his corpse.
- 734 BC Mordenkainen and a band of Barovian commoners storm Castle Ravenloft. Mordenkainen falls over a thousand feet and is struck with Amnesia. Doru is turned into a vampire spawn.
