Hills & Mountains
The Balinoks
The Forhenvaerendman ("Ancient Ones") are the eastern foothills of the Balinoks. These foothills gives way to the Ensommark ("Lonely Plain"). Toyalis sits at the frontier between them and the Lonely Plain. The Red Highway from Toyalis scales the Forhenvaerendman and breaches the Balinoks beyond.

Plains
The Ensommark ("Lonely Plain") that covers eastern Hazlan is divided into the Ufrugtbarlan ("Barren Lands") to the north, and the Dunlan ("Dun Lands") to the south, by the [[Saniset River].
Forests
The Skyggeskov ("Shadowwood") stradles the border with Nova Vaasa, fronting the Misty Border. It begins in earnest east of the Felgmøsge ("Mistmoss River").

Roads
The Iron Road joins Toyalis to Sly-Var, traversing the Ensommark ("Lonely Plain"), and continues on to the east into Nova Vaasa.
The Red Highway joins Toyalis to Ramulai, scaling the Forhenvaerendman ("Ancient Ones") and breaching the Balinoks.
The Warlock's Road joins Toyalis to Immol, traversing the Ensommark ("Lonely Plain") and climbing into the Balinoks where it stays close to the Saniset River.

Frontiers
The Misty Border is also referred to as the Road of a Thousand Secrets and is widely thought to lead to the Pharazia.
Population Distribution
Cities
Toyalis (pop. 8,200 ) sits on the western edge of Ensommark ("Lonely Plain") within a vast crater. The x ("Ancient Ones") stand at its back to the west. Toyalis is joined to Sly-Var by the Iron Road, to Ramulai by the Red Highway, and to Immol by the Warlock's Road.
Towns
Sly-Var (pop. 4,500) sit on the Ensommark ("Lonely Plain") on the frontier between the x ("Barren Lands") and the [[]] ("Dun Lands). The Saniset River and the Genspejle ("Mirror River") meet in Sly-Var. Both rivers are navigable at this point. Sly-Var is joined to Toyalis by the Iron Road. It is joined to markets in Nova Vaasa by the Iron Road and the Saniset River.
Villages
Ramulai (pop. 300) sits in the [Red Wizard's Vale]] at the foot of Mount Soren at the heart of the Hazlani Balinoks. It is joined to Toyalis by the Red Highway.
Remain 13,000 Hazlani iive in other Villages, smaller communities still. Theses include private estates, farms, and frontier communities. The overwelming majority of these are to be found on Ensommark ("Lonely Plain").
