In the year 551 BC[1][2] after seeing many of their number slaughtered]], the priest under him rebelled against Ankhtepot and killed him as he was sleeping. Following this murder, they mummified Ankhtepot and abandoned him in a crypt. Ankhtepot was trapped in his coffin until the Mists claimed his tomb. Unfortunately for him, Ankhtepot's nation had from a shrunk from an empire to a single village and the surrounding environments.[3]
