Verbrek is a land of rugged forests and scattered settlements, ruled by Alfred Timothy.
Verbrek absorbed neighboring Arkandale during the Grand Conjunction.

Chronology
- 708 BC Arkandale is formed.[2][3][4]
- 709 BC Alfred Timothy is born.
- 730 BC Verbrek forms[2][3][4] after Alfred Timothy murders the Vistani whom had saved him from being burnt at the stake.[5]
- 740 BC The Grand Conjunction occurs. Arkandale dissolves, and its former lands are absorbed into Verbrek. Alfred Timothy is no longer a darklord and may sail all the rivers of the Core.[6]
- 741 BC George Weathermay is seduced by the werewolf Natalia Vhorishkova in order to get at Dr. van Richten. In the heat of battle, Gennifer Weathermay-Foxgrove is wounded and is afflicted with lycanthropy. George Weathermay gives chase to Natalia out of Mordent. In Verbrek, he confronts the Vhorishkova family and, upon finding they are werewolves, murders them all to the last noncombatant. Out of this mass murder emerges a changed, more bitter and driven George Weathermay.[7]
- 757 BC By this year at the latest, Celia Whitmoor and Argent have settled down and established the [Duskpeace Lodge]], home to the Duskpeace Outcasts.[8]
