During the War of Evil, various demihuman communities within The Great Kingdom of Avonleigh were forcibly reloated by the forces of Elena Faith-hold. One such community settled within the northern portion of the Province of Avonleigh. They survived the War of Evil, but they were drawn into The Land of Mists when Morgoroth became a darklord. Fortunately the residents were able to protect their community from the undead of Avonleigh using abjuration magic, making it one of the few (relatively) safe places within the domain. This community has become known as Twinmoon Sanctuary.[1]
