Vaasi Plateau

Much of Nova Vaasa sits a top a flat, arid plain known as the Vaasimark, or the Vaasi Plateau. Though there are more differences between the regions of this land than meets the eye, these differences are nonetheless subtle and muted. Very few people manage to survive in the dry rocky areas away from the rivers or cities of Nova Vaasa, leaving these areas occasionally dotted by decrepit stone ruins. Freshwater springs can serve as oasises in the dry land, but bandits or plains cats usually inhabitant (and covet) these springs.
