This section contains canon info from officially published sources

Sirine are beautiful, aquatic fey fond of using their songs to charm nearby humanoids for some entertainment and or other uses for several hours at a time. Despite sometimes enjoying the company of humanoids for brief times, sirines deeply distrust humanoids from getting too close to them or learning of their homes. On such subjects, sirines are elusive and may attack nonsirines who approach their lairs. Not the hardiest of fighters, sirines have a few spell-like abilities and a sirine's touch can inflict Intelligence ability damage. A sirine can also remove the Intelligence damage caused by an of her kind.^[1]
