Borchava Duchy

The Hiregaard family rules the Borchava Duchy in the northwestern corner of Nova Vaasa and does so with a light touch and relatively light taxes. The duchy corresponds to the watersheds of the Borchava River and Vaugh Dnar River, from the Tepestian border in the west, the Darkonese border in the north, the edge of the Dyrskov ("beastwood") in the south, and up to the merging of the two rivers in the east. The Heartland Duchy of the Bolshnik family lies to its east and southeast and the Altid Duchy of the Vistin family lies to its south. Liara is under the sway of the Hiregaards.
