The Red Moon marks a day of mourning for the loas of Souragne as it is the day when the wife of Kurkva died. It also marks an occultic disruption, severing the undead from the Negative Material Plane (unless controlled by the Lord of the Dead) and disrupting the magic of arcane spellcasters.[1]
