Black rain is a rare type of ooze that flies through the skies of Ravenloft and then precipitates bits of its slime down upon terrestrial creatures to feed or multiply. The slime rained down eats away at skin and flesh like acid, and eventually the black rain's essence collects and reforms new bodies.[1]
Note that the black rain was never updated to 3.x Edition, so the creature types assigned below are speculative.
