Voodans are a type divine spellcaster, found in Souragne, who recieve their power by communing with the Loa.
In 2nd Edition's Monsterous Compendium II, Chicken Bone was presented as an example Voodan, listed under "Human, Voodan", implying that Voodan was a Human subrace. But in the 3.5 Edition Dark Tales and Disturbing Legends, the Voodans are presented as a class open to all races, but it is noted that nearly all Voodans in Ravenloft are human, with negligible numbers of members of other races, if any.
