Boars, sometimes called wild boars are wild, tusked pigs that are the forebears of domestic pigs.^[1] Boars are found in most domains^[2]^[3], particularly Barovia.^[4]^[5] The listing of wild pigs in the small animal table in the 2nd edition Realm of Terror and Ravenloft Campaign Setting boxed sets^[6]^[7] is probably intended to refer to wild boar.
