Daiki Shinpi is a harsh, bloodthirsty man who has no tolerance for weakness or or ill discipline. His rule is one of an iron fist where small infractions of the law leads to dire punishments. He wasn't always like this. Before he entered Ravenloft he was an honorable warrior. He had little interest in things other than fighting and honor but he wasn't brutal. His father started many wars later in his life and his son thought his duty was in the forefront bringing honor to his family. His father saw him as simple minded which is a mistake that someone won't make twice. He is a cunning warrior and a great leader on the battle field. The fighting that broke out between the brothers after their father's death has made him paranoid. For all his bravado he sees assassins everywhere. He is very brave in a straight fight but the thought of his getting his throat slit when he is helpless fills him with dread. This has increased his brutality as did a priest of the Lawgiver who he met soon after entering the domain. He is a fanatic devotee of the god and the Church of the Lawgiver is the state religion. Of all the brothers he is the most upset that he seas makes it impossible for anyone to land troops on the others land and settle this once and for all.
