Malbus

Malbus is the Darklord of al Kathos. He resides in the Burned Citadel.

Malbus is a half-fiendish satyr whose mother was a succubus who seduced and corrupted a particularly powerful satyr named Hellos. His mother's demonic blood made him even more lustful than the average satyr. His father was treated with disdain when it was found out that he had a half breed child and Malbus was treated the same way. Malbus grew up hating his mother and all of demon-kind but his fiendish blood made the temptations of evil to strong to fight. He found out about the Blood War and figured that devils were the worst enemies of demons and he became a worshipper of the archdevil Bel who hates demons more than any other archdevil and possibly more than any devil that exists. Bel saw it ironically amusing that a demon spawn would be a sworn enemy of demons and was pleased to have him as a follower. Bel granted him certain gifts that allowed him to terrorize his troop into making him their leader. He then set out to fight one sayter troop after another and getting them to join his quickly growing tribe. Individulaistic as saytrs are Malbus was absolutely terrifying. His troops also kidnapped women and sent them to him to satisfy his lust. Eventually he found out that a coup was being plotted against him by some of his generals as they wished to return to a life of more independence. He was sly however and betrayed them by sending them against a city ruled by clerics of Bane after informing the clerics that his army was coming. While laughing at his troops getting slaughtered the mists claimed him for its own. He has a number of curses on him 1)He is no longer able to change shape and always appears as his true form as a half-fiendish satyr. He has no real political control over his realm as he only has influence over a half a dozen devils 3 bearded devils and 3 chain devils all of whom are too stupid to be more than sword fodder and the 6 of them aren't enough to control a domain of thousands. Instead of the disciplined population he desires the domain is full of squabbling chaotics. Although he still lusts after human women and there are plenty of them they almost never leave their communities because of the fear of bandits.
