The dread doll golem is a construct born of dark desire. It is nowise a mindless automaton, being created with the dread golem template and being at once conscious and self-conscious. The creature has the shape of a foot-tall doll and it may choose to offer no hint of being something other than a simple child's toy. Its employment is often as a defender, or as an attacker, of children. A doll golem can today be found in nearly any land. Its first appearance may have been in Sanguinia.
