The biomancers of Bluetspur and Dr. Victor Mordenheim of Lamordia are both capable of successfully transferring a brain from its original seat to another living body. The biomancers created Marcu Vasilis. Mordenheim replaced, replaced and replaced again the body of his servant Horg, transplanting the brain of his servant each time. Although the biomancer's transpecies transplantation is the greater biological wonder, Mordenheim has also to his credit the preservation of a living brain in a vat.
