Renard and Arsen were a pair of Redbreasts patrolling the Cineris Forest when the Fair Folk of the forest became angered at the spilling of blood without tribute. Faced with a seemingly greater foe than the fugitive Diederic de Wyndt, they accepted his parlay of temporary truce only to be betrayed - Diederic murdered both of them and offered them up as sacrifice to the Fair Folk in return for safe passage.[1]
