The Pyramid of Huitzilopochtli is a temple of Huitzilopochtli in Huanoquite and serves as the seat of power for Cuxi Yapanaque. At the will of Yapqnaque, the priests here make human sacrifices on a daily basis to appease Huitzilopochtli to ensure the invaders do not overtake them.[1]
