Starrin d'Cannith, the patriarch of House Cannith, nickamed "the Gorgon" is the darklord of Cyre, due to his actions in creating the cataclysm known in Eberron as the Mourning.
He alone out of all the inabitants of the domain is unaware of his domain's temporal reset, only he must complete his device by any means. He is uninterested in events occuring in the domain and attempts to stop him invariably end up causing the cataclysm sooner.
