They come to a path underground, eventually leading to a labyrinth. All but Werner are slain by Althea or other menaces. Werner is blinded, but he escapes, as commented about in his journal. His final fate remains unknown.[1]
- Jacqueline Renier and Louise Renier are born as twins to Simon Audaire and Marie Renier.[2]
