From Expedition to Castle Ravenloft. The Swam Fane is one of the Three Wilderness Fanes, located in Ivlis Marsh. Like the other fanes, the Swamp Fane was corrupted by Strahd as part of his effort to bind himself to the land of Barovia. It grants Strahd several elemental resistances.[1]
History
The hag known as the Drowned Lady was a human priestess and guardian who tended to the Fane. Once Strahd corrupted it, the Drown Lady became corrupted too, transforming into a sea Hag. She now dwells there.[2]
