The Room of Enchantment in Castle Avernus heightens enchantment magics.[1]
Under 2nd Edition rules effective caster level receives +2 bonus and saving throws suffer a -2 penalty.[1]
Room is protected by a permanent Emotion spell that attempts to cause fear.[1] Under 3rd Edition rules that spell no longer exists and fear effects are necromantic magic.
A Confusion spell would be a good substitute as it, like Emotion, doesn't effect undead.
