This house in Sighisoara is where Dracula was raised as a mortal child. It contains the "lair" of Marusca Vitez in the cellar, though to her it is almost actually more a prison for her. Dracula has bound her to guard the house because it is where he was raised as a child. He has commanded her to guard a cache of treasure should there come a time when he would need it.[1]
A map for Marusca's Lair can be found on p. 90
