A Gnomish Vampire is a gnome who has returned from death via the Gnomish Vampire [[:category:vampire strain|strain]] of [[vampire|vampirism]]. This strain only affects gnomes, hence all Gnomish Vampires are both [[Gnome]]s and [[Vampire]]s, but not all Vampires who are Gnomes are affected by this strain. It is possible for a Gnome to contract another strain of vampirism, including the basic version. This strain only affects gnomes, hence all Gnomish Vampires are both Gnomes and Vampires, but not all Vampires who are Gnomes are affected by this strain. It is possible for a Gnome to contract another strain of vampirism, including the basic version. To avoid this confusion, creatures affected by this strain are also called
