A Hearth Fiend is fire elemental creature infused with the essence of the Mists. Casting fire-based spells within the Mists can result in summoning a hearth fiend. Hearth fiends gleeful corruptors, using a subtle charm ability (and barring that, empty promises) to persuade those with insufficient force of will to turn towards evil, especially with acts of arson.[1]
Azalin has a hearth fiend harnessed in a forge.[2]
