A wachekapitan is a soldier of the Falkovnian Army who serves as the chief law enforcement officer in a Falkovnian community. Wachekapitans are part and parcel of the Falkovnian military government.

The term wachekapitan literally means "watch captain" in Falkovnian (with wache being "watch," and kapitan being "captain").
