Yrym-Sybarr is credited in The Tyrahgaunt Text[1] with the creation, over nine centuries ago, of the goblyn race. He is recorded to have observed upon the completion of his endeavour, "Y have succeeded at the makying of a new race. Though the race ys only goblyns, they obey my whyms and delyght yn and desyre only wyckedness." Yrym-Sybarr is described as being an archmagi.
