Toret Johann Severin

Toret Johann Sevrein was born and raised in the Mount Gries region of Borca. As young man he settled in Levkarest where entered the Church of Ezra as a lay anchorite, serving Ezra as a healer and spiritual counselor. He has risen to the rank of toret, is now employed by the Church as a treasurer, has an office in the Great Cathedral, and has been assigned a pair of bodyguards that accompany him in official duties. Johann is in his 50's, suffers from gout, walks with a sever limp, and wears a partial mask over his face. He was maimed and scarred for life by a vampire that would have taken his life but for the timely intervention of Dr. Rudolph van Richten. The two became friends and Johann has pledged his assistance to the doctor. It was the former who introduced the latter to the dwarf Torenor. The compassion of Johann has enabled him to develop an an surprisingly extensive and remarkably diverse network of contacts throughout the eastern Core. As a Dread Possibility, Johann has developed an exceedingly dangerous obsession with, and lust for Ivana Boritsi, of which the Black Widow of Borca has but the slightest inkling.
