Formerly the Newsbill's best journalist, William Thompson was fired by Foster Randolph and subsequently became the editor for Disclosure, a newspaper that is considered a joke by most of Paridon. Thompson gathers all the tidbits on dread doppelgangers and other monsters he can to help monster hunters take them down. Despite this, Thompson's firing was a result of his own obsession with revenge against the creatures of the night. This revenge came as a result of the humiliation he suffered when the evil of dread doppelgangers was discovered after he had first expressed views doubting their sinister nature.[1]
