Merlin was an adviser to King Arthur. On Gothic Earth, the famous wizard was no mere legend but an actual person. In fact, he was almost certainly the leader of the qabal known as the Stone. He led them to work with many other such qabals against the servants of the Red Death.[1]
Unfortunately, the unity that Merlin and other such qabalist leaders had made was unmade by the 10th century. The minions of the Red Death had turned the qabals against each other.[2]
