Dr. Gregorian Illhousen is the core's foremost expert in dreams and nightmares, and an enemy of the Nightmare Court. He worked at the Clinic for the Mentally Distressed, until his colleague, Dr. Harrod Tasker schemed with The Nightmare Man to pull the clinic into The Nightmare Lands. Illhausen was a friend of Dr. Rudolph van Richten. He was last known to be trapped in The Nightmare Lands, running the nightmare version of the clinic, along with his assistant and lover, head nurse Caroline Dinwiddy, who carries his child.
