The Red Moon marks a day of mourning for the loas of Souragne as it is the day when the wife of Kurkva died. It also marks an occultic disruption, severing the undead from the [{Negative Material Plane]] (unless controlled by the Lord of the Dead) and disrupting the magic of arcane spellcasters.[1]
