His rule is one of an iron fist where small infractions of the law leads to dire punishments. He wasn't always like this. Before he entered Ravenloft he was an honorable warrior. He had little interest in things other than fighting and honor but he wasn't brutal. His father started many wars later in his life and his son thought his duty was in the forefront bringing honor to his family. His father saw him as simple minded which is a mistake that someone won't make twice. He is a cunning warrior and a great leader on the battle field. The fighting that broke out between the brothers after their father's death has made him paranoid. For all his bravado he sees assassins everywhere. He is very brave in a straight fight but the thought of his getting his throat slit when he is helpless fills him with dread. | |||
