Lemot Sediam Juste is the playwright darklord of Scaena.

Background

A playwright whose only fame came from comedies, Lemot Sediam Juste struggled to create more serious art, only to receive harsh criticism from his audiences and his actors alike. Having reached his breaking point, Lemot penned a dire tragedy full of murder and bloodshed, intending to substitute the stage props with actual weapons to trick his actors into killing each other. To his astonishment, his actors actually praised the new script on their first read-through, and he could have swapped the real weapons for props... but did not. To his rage, the performance received only boos from the audience, who denounced the bloody events performed before them as too gory and hackneyed. In revenge for this final slight, Lemot locked the audience into the theater and burned it to the ground, earning his darklordship. As he himself became caught up in the blaze, he was trapped in Scaena thereafter.

Powers

Juste has complete control over the intricate illusions he creates on his stage. He can meld into any wooden surface in his theater and emerge elsewhere in the theater. He can also will the theater to burn down (and then reform), and is immune to the flames.
