It is not humanity that has a potential for perfection in mind, body and soul, but the Masters (dread doppelgangers). Capable of magnificent control over the body and of absorbing knowledge from the minds of men at will, predators hidden among the herd all unnoticed, and capable of focusing and expanding their natural powers through their unique alchemical paths, the Masters are far more likely to unlock divinity in themselves - so long as they are prepared to apply themselves fully to physical and mental discipline.
"The Masters are the highest creation of all the natural order, rightfully placed above men and other lesser forms. With our minds, we touch and bend the thoughts of every creature. With our bodies, we recapitulate the strengths of every strain of flesh. Born unto the lesser breeds, we alone are chosen to transcend their physical and moral limits. Petty politics and laziness are beneath us, as Masters, and we should claim our birthright as overlords of all the world, the unseen hand that coaxes all lessers to the service of our choosing."

A religion founded in the city of Paridon in the Zherisia Cluster by dread doppelganger Adramelech.

History

During its childhood, Adramelech spent some time absorbing the dogma of the Divinity of Mankind. Even before it came into the fullness of its shapeshifting power, the young doppelganger realized the Celebrants all harboured flaws they refused to correct, disillusioning it. Expecting better of dread doppelgangers, Adramelech was severely disappointed to discover they were just as flawed in their own way. It created the Divinity of the Masters as a dark counter to the Divinity of Mankind, and by the grace of the Dark Powers unlocked the power of divine magic.

Rather than a classic faith in external spiritual patrons, the Divinity of the Masters is a program of meditation, study and physical exercize meant to help dread doppelgangers achieve the potential for perfection in mind, body and soul Adramelech saw in them. Unfortunately for it, the philosophy's founder was forced to flee Paridon after its sermons were poorly received, as it had brutally murdered several hecklers and the thugs sent by Sodo to collect it for execution.

In the wake of Adramelech's escape, several dread doppelgangers have read its texts and taken up the path of Clerics of the faith. Although many of their kind still scoff at the notion, Sodo has allowed the faith to continue on account of its usefulness. Known as 'Seekers of Divinity', these Clerics are still highly impressed by their founder's texts, but fear Adramelech is insane and dread going anywhere near its home in Port-a-Lucine lest they be tortured to death.

Dogma
