The Gorkynites are a sect within the Church of the Lawgiver inspired by Sainted Prince Gorkyn, the Breaker of the False Religions, the Breaker of the Cycle of Stewards, and the self-proclaimed and recognised leader of the Iron Faith as its first Himmelsk Naeve (“Divine Fist”). They seek the declaration of an indiscriminate holy war across the Core.

Aerkebiskop Mathias Bolshnik is a leading member of the movement, sitting on the Council of Lords by the appointment of Prince Othmar himself plus having ready access to the prince's ear. Members of the movement miss no occasion to remind their temporal leader of the glories of Sainted Prince Gorkyn, glories that Prince Othmar might claim for himself and the Vassi nation by simply reaching forth a hand and seizing a world that is his by divine right.

Speculation
It may be speculated that that the Gorkynites do not enjoy the support of Himmelsk Naeve Pieter Jergaar who has a very precise problem to address in Hazlan in the person of Hazlik, before he can even think of turning his eye to grander projects. Were the movement to become a hinderance to the plans of the Himmelsk Naeve, the correction of the group's indisciplined foolishness could conceivably be elevated to a very high priority.  But it is more likely that Pieter Jergar judges the group to be easily manipulable in support of his plans.
