Also known as the Heavenly City, Caercaelum is a walled, fortified city at the heart of Malosia. Caercaelum serves as the religious seat of authority for the Empyrean Church.[1] Yet despite the city's reputation to be covered in gold, this is not the case. Behind the cobblestone streets and buildings of the main thoroughfares, the lower class dwell in squalid wood or stone huts.[2]
