Eva and Vanna Strasser are the daughters of Gundra Strasser and Rudolf Strasser. When Sir Viktor Helsinger seized their villa, he falsely accused Rudolf of treason and ordered his execution. Eva and Vanna are now Viktor's slave-concubines, and Gundra is kept on as a maid and captive to make sure her daughters do as he says.[1]
Though the sisters despise him[1], he keeps them from conspiring against them by making them compete for his affections (or more accurately, avoiding his wrath.)[2]
