Dr. Claude Vardeau is the uncle of Monic Vardeau. He is a metaphysician, researcher specializing in lycanthropy[1], and a herbalist with the knowledge of harvesting moonflowers.[2]
Dr. Vardeau was hired by Lord Kaspar Von Brausch of Curriculo to find a cure for lycanthropy for his son Marcellus Von Brausch. However, Marcellus escaped his confinement and murdered his father while in werewolf form. Dr. Vardeau was blamed for the murder, and he remains incarcerated waiting for the local magistrate to render the guilty verdict of execution. Monic seeks investigators to look into his whereabouts.[3]
Only a full confession will enable Dr. Vardeau's release.[4]
